The Firm

Built by a practitioner. For the people who own the outcome.

Astor Consulting exists because most organizations sign enterprise technology contracts before they understand what they're agreeing to. We change that.

Years of enterprise procurement expertise

Wendy Storino founded Astor Consulting after three decades inside the enterprise procurement function — nearly two decades in equipment leasing and finance, followed by seventeen years leading technology procurement at Fortune 500 financial services and healthcare companies.

That experience produced a simple conviction: most organizations engage vendors before they understand what they are agreeing to. The contract is treated as a formality. It is not. It is the only enforceable record of what was promised — and when delivery drifts, it is the only thing you can stand on.

Astor Consulting was founded to close that gap — not as a staffing firm, not as a software vendor, but as a senior advisory practice that works directly with the people who own the outcome.

How We Work

Selective by design.

Astor Consulting takes a small number of engagements at any given time. We do not operate at volume. Every client receives direct access to senior expertise — not a team of analysts working from a methodology deck.

Advisory, not execution.

We are not a law firm and we do not draft contracts. We work alongside your legal counsel and procurement team to ensure the commercial strategy is sound before the lawyers negotiate the language.

Peer-level engagement.

Our clients are CPOs, CIOs, and the executives who sign. We engage at that level — with the directness and commercial fluency that the work requires.

No vendor relationships.

We do not accept referral fees, placement fees, or commercial arrangements with technology vendors. Our advice is independent. That is the only way it can be useful.

The right structure starts before the first signature.
